Bought these for a number of applications but mostly for holding wheels on shafts like a spent oil container I just purchased where the supplied clips were very poor quality and strength. Also highly recommend buying a snap ring tool to help with the installation of these rings, will definitely save your fingers and minimized a lot of frustrations and, I'll admit, a lot of cussing at least in my case! Highly recommend this collection of snap rings.

I had a 3/8” drive Milwaukee Electric Ratchet where the original snapring broke off. I could not find their part number snapring for sale and I could not get an answer on the dimensions of the original snapring. I took a chance and ordered this kit with a variety of snapring and found the 15/32” snapring in this kit worked for me. I cannot comment on if the coating is blued steel or paint on the snaprings so I do not know if they are weather resistant.

These seem to be of good quality.
Sure wish that that case was as good quality as the snap rings. They were all mixed up with the different sizes. I do wish that the smaller sizes had holes for the snap ring pliers. I’m not quite sure how to get those on if and when I should need one. Ace didn’t have one small enough for what I needed, so now I have enough till I die LOL.
I only gave 3 stars due to the case being a piece of CRAP!! If I would have read some of the reviews I might have chose a different brand.
OH WELL these will work though, I’m not going to spend a bunch of time sorting them out though.
