    I am a huge reader but I never read self-help books. I was honestly never a fan of them. However, I've had the pleasure of working with my facility's Clinical Director Stephanie and heard she was an author (on top of like 50 other things). I decided to check out her new book "Unpack Your Bags" - I stayed up late just to finish it. This book is beautifully written and honestly pertains to anyone who's dealt with emotional baggage, anxiety, or negative feelings that they are subconsciously carrying through life. The book gives tools on how to break the cycle and be able to let go and find some peace. If youre struggling with emotional baggage, looking for something to read, or just bored, please check it out!! We could all use some peace in the chaos of daily life and this world.

    This is a great book for everyone! Written from a place of love and caring for the reader, we all have excess baggage to unpack and sometimes those bags become so comfortable and normal to us that we don't even see them. This book helps you identify those areas as well as the bags we carry that we are aware of, and send them on their way! If you are starting off 2024 with a renewed sense of self and looking to grow in to the best "you", give this latest book a read. It will not disappoint.

    What a beautiful and helpful book. It was truly life-changing. I had no idea the amount of baggage and fear I was carrying from my past into my present. Also knowing that I have all the tools within me to write my path is something this book made me realize. I will be reading it again and can’t recommend it enough!!!!

    In all fairness, you can call this a biased opinion, that’s fine. You can also call it HONEST.
    I’ve known Stephanie for years as a primary therapist on an amazing clinical team that treated substance abuse clients, to a private practice therapist with an amazing reputation for progress. Now, I’m blessed to work beside her at Agape Behavioral Healthcare.
    This book is not my first self help book but easily at the top of the list.
    Lessons, perspective, challenges, examples, and attitude. And that’s just an introduction.
    Please do yourself the service of adding this book to your library, read it once a year and share with your friends.
