About the Author

LeRoy Cossette is a Marine Corps Vietnam combat veteran. He has served as Health Care Administrator with the Department of Veterans Affairs for thirty-two years. He spent the last eleven years at VA Headquarters in Washington, eight years as Chief of Policy and Operations and the last two years as Acting Director of Headquarters Health Administrative Service.

During the eleven years in Washington, he worked closely with members of Congress and White House staff regarding Veterans issues. Served two two-year terms as township Counselman. Following retirement volunteered as a fire fighter and EMT for nine years followed by co-owner of private business. Cossette is currently active with the GOP and a District Captain and Content Writer for the Convention of States Action movement. He is also a political activist and writer of political Op-eds for news media.

Eye-opening information regarding extent of corruption and incompetency within our federal government and extent to which the government is ignoring denigrating the Constitution as written and intended by the Founders. Really made me wonder if we have lost our Constitutional Republic. Scary!

Never realized just how bad things have really gotten because I don't pay much attention to politics. Now realize that I must begin keeping myself informed about what our federal government is really doing and how they're spending our tax dollars.

Led me to do some comparing of reporting on various news medias to see if what was written about the press being biased depending on their political leaning was true. It was. Realized I can't trust the news media to give me the true facts..

Author is probably a conservative as the book seems to address the various issues from a constitutional conservative perspective. Very refreshing!

"America Insanity" by LeRoy Cossette in twenty four chapters is a book giving one writer views and opinions about the U S. The first chapter contains a series of "Where am I questions" that one wonders if in reality it is thus in all the situations these questions seem to raise.
The book forgets that America has never been a perfect country and though these times have their troubles and issues, the past had the problems of the Indians and the black and most people who were not white.
Most of the book puts the blame on the Democrats and their government for all the bad conditions that faces the country today which makes one questions if the book is being realistic or accurate in its portrayal of the Democrats or the democratic party and painting the Republicans as a group without faults who should take credits' for all the good of the country. As when it affirms that the general election was stolen from Donald Trump and seemingly elevating him to a good or excellent president ignoring all the fact to the contrary. The assertion that there was foul play from the Democrats in the election of Trump for a second term is a mere fantasy and an erroneous argument that bears no truth or factual elements whatsoever How this person came to this belief is hard to say given his supposedly experience in wars and government service. Donald Trump is not a saint and all the Democrats just devils who are destroying this country and have always done so. These seem to be the words of a person who has his head stuck in the sand and a erroneous Republican who has his facts mixed up and can't see the reality of both parties, the democrats and the republican throughout the history of this country. Both parties have done much damage to the country and to put one party up and the other down is simply trying to bend history. When it comes to the evil done to this country and its citenzens the Republicans are not far behind if not way ahead.
This book is no more than one-sided account of the situation of this country in its history and the real case now from a person who seems to be in denial of the real case of the Republicans under Donald Trump and the history of their party. Do not read this book to see the facts of history in this country. There are many, many books to read which are more consistent with the real case of America now and during its past history.

I enjoyed reading this book because it had information that I did not know about. I did not realize that there was so much corruption in our government and how my representatives were not the ones who really govern our country but rather it is the bureaucracy which are unelected, so we have no control over what they do which causes problems in our running our businesses and our lives.
