I've had the reMarkable 2 for about three years. I use it all the time for my work. One thing I've never liked about this great device is the cover/folio they sell with it. Aside from being expensive, it doesn't protect the expensive stylus that works with the reMarkable. It's stuck to the side magnetically, but it's all too easy to knock it off. Around the house or office, okay, the worst that typically happens, is I have to figure out what it rolled under and try to get it. But out somewhere, it can mean the need to buy a new stylus, and they're not cheap.
This after-market case is a much better solution. As you should see in the photos I've attached, the closed cover also covers a compartment where the stylus sits. The magnet still helps hold it to the side of the tablet, and the cover is closed with another magnet. I wish that magnet were just a touch stronger, but it still seems to get the job done. Between the magnetically closed cover, the compartment the stylus sits in and its magnetic attachment to the reMarkable, I feel much more comfortable with this case than the one that was bought with the tablet. Better yet, this case is much, much cheaper than the one reMarkable sells. Overall, it's an excellent choice!

Better case than the one sold by Remarkable

However, although the case does properly cover the tablet and incorporates a stylus holder there were two negative issues that, in the end, made her decide not to use it for her tablet. The first issue was that the front and back covers are, under the ersatz leather, made from a moderately pliable plastic. Although the plastic doesn’t feel as if it will break easily, the very fact that it is somewhat bendable caused worry about longevity and potential damage. The second issue was that the advertised magnetic catch in the top cover is exceedingly minimal in magnetic holding power and only exists in limited sized areas at the two outer corners.
Putting everything together my wife rejected the "BOZHUORUI Slim Case for 10.3" Remarkable 2 Digital Paper Tablet.” Although the sensory feel of the PU leather was a plus it was not enough to overcome her two issues that, in the end, made her decide that the cover was just not enough for her to feel that her tablet would be securely held and protected. After reviewing the case myself I agreed with her decision and I therefore feel that this is, at best, a solid 3 star product. I would therefore recommend that anyone looking to buy a case for their Remarkable 2 tablet keep shopping.

The Case Feels Good to the Touch But Doesn't Provide Enough Protection

I ordered the "BOZHUORUI Slim Case for 10.3" Remarkable 2 Digital Paper Tablet" for my wife to protect her Remarkable 2 tablet. The case does the basic structural job for which it is intended, holding and covering your expensive Remarkable tablet. It has an artificial leather covering which, although I normally hate the feel of PU leather, has a soft, almost velvet like, feel which is very pleasant to the touch. If it weren’t for the crimped edges along the periphery of the upper cover (see photos attached) I would almost believe the material was real leather.
