My girlfriend and I just moved into an apartment and we needed to get all new kitchen stuff a few months ago. We didn't get this and my mom has one for a Turkey Dish she makes and swears by it. She has an over priced Pampered Chef one. I didn't think this one would be nearly as good, but I was SHOCKED at how solid it is. Love that it is able to be cleaned in the dishwasher. It's not really hard to clean because of the product, but by nature this product is a little trickier to clean. The product is super versatile as well. Last night my girlfriend used it to mash chicken sausage but she also will use it to mash potato's. I was impressed with it's ability to take heat...which is great considering it's near or touching a very hot pan. The other thing she told me she really like was the handle. iIt's something I didn't consider when buying the product, but she said the handle made it easy to grip even when using a lot of force. She also said it didn't hurt her hand after prolonged use. In short: This product is great!

    It really works! It makes it easy to break up ground meat. I have hand strength issues, and using a regular cooking spoon makes my hand hurt and never fun and takes long breaking up the ground meat. This worked and broke up the ground meat in no time and no pain.

    I ordered the pretty color "blue" but wish I'd ordered the dark colored handle because it touched another spoon with spaghetti sauce and it stained it. I was unsuccessful removing the stain.
