Product Description
1. How Pymeter control Temperature?
Temperature controller is actual Heating/Cooling controller, thus MUST SET ON-Temp to turn ON Heating/Cooling, and MUST SET OFF-Temp to turn OFF Heating/Cooling.
Heating starts at LOW Temp [ON-Temp(1tN)], stops at HIGH Temp [OFF-Temp(1tF)], thus for heating MUST SET 1tN LESS than 1tF;
In heating mode, 1tN is the minimum temp you allow, 1tF is the maximum temp you allow.
Cooling starts at HIGH Temp [ON-Temp(1tN)], stops at LOW Temp [OFF-Temp(1tF)], thus for cooling MUST SET 1tN GREATER than 1tF.
In cooling mode, 1tN is the maximum temp you allow, 1tF is the minimum temp you allow.
2. How Pymeter control Humidity?
Humidification starts at LOW Humidity [ON-Humidity(2hn)], stops at HIGH Humidity [OFF-Humidity(2hF)], thus for humidification MUST SET 2hn LESS than 2hF;
In humidification mode, 2hn is the minimum humidity you allow, 2hF is the maximum humidity you allow.
Dehumidification starts at HIGH Humidity [ON-Humidity(2hn)], stops at LOW Humidity [OFF-Humidity(2hF)], thus for dehumidification MUST SET 2hn GREATER than 2hF.
In dehumidification mode, 2hn is the maximum humidity you allow, 2hF is the minimum humidity you allow.

Mines almost a year old (only used for about a month) and when setting it back up I obviously couldn't find the instructions. You can figure out what each setting does, but it would be nice if there were a sticker on the back of it that explained everything clearly.
On thing I see a lot of complaints about is that it continually beeps on high humidity.
H_L needs to be equal to H_H if you want to disable the High humidity alarm.
By default H_L = 10 and H_H = 99. As soon as the humidity goes above 89.9% you will hear a continuous beep.
I lowered the H_H down to 10.0% and the alarm stopped. (I did it this way because it was taking too long to get up to 99%).
With all of the complaints and low reviews I am shocked they have not tried to update their instructions or reply to the users with this complaint (I actually came here to write the same review until I randomly got the idea to try matching H_L & H_H after reading the comments.)
I didn't bother to figure out alarm settings, and just removed the speaker inside. It's really simple to do. Use a fingernail and pull the 6 silicon/rubber plugs out of the back plate. Remove 6 Phillips head screws beneath them. Remove backplate. You'll see a circuit board mounted by two more Phillips screws, Remove those also. On the other side at the very top is the speaker. It's the black round plastic thing with a hole in the center. Attaches to the circuit board with two legs and are soldered. I desoldered it, closed it up, and it won't beep EVER now.
Setting the temperature and humidity couldn't be easier. There is also calibration for temp and humidity towards the end of settings menu. Having hygrometers handy helps with calibration also. Just be sure to give the hygrometer time to adjust, because the pymeter is SENSITIVE and ACCURATE!
