I’m pleasantly surprised by these booties! I was looking for cute and casual booties that wouldn’t break the bank (plus points if they didn’t make my feet want to fall off after wearing them lol), and these were it! They slip on easily (pull on, no zipper), they don’t make my feet look wide or clunky, and they look like I paid way more for them than I did (about $20 at the time of posting). The material doesn’t look too plastic-y and fake, the heel is a great height, and they don’t LOOK cheap. There were no loose strings, no gaps between the boot and the sole, no manufacturing flaws that I could see. I expect that these would last for quite a while, if taken care of properly.
I stuck with my usual size (8), and these fit well. I prefer for my shoes to have a little bit of wiggle room in the toes, but not so much that they slide around, and these were pretty perfect. Note: I haven’t worn thick winter socks with these (I live in a warmer climate so these are more for style), but I would probably consider sizing up if you intend to wear thick socks, as they might be a bit snug.
I’ve worn these a few times (worn for a few hours at a time, mix of walking and sitting, nothing crazy) and they were comfortable. Some reviewers mentioned a metal pole from the heel eventually poking up through the top of the shoe, but I haven’t experienced that with mine. I will update my review if that ever happens. There isn’t much by way of arch support, but this can be easily remedied by inserting comfy insoles, if you prefer.
The color is a darker brown, like a rich espresso color. If they ever make these in a cognac brown, I’ll definitely snatch up a second pair!

Super Cute Boots with One Issue
These boots are so cute and I love them. My only issue with them is that they came with a weird felt bottom? I don’t know how to describe it but the bottom of the boots had this soft slippery texture that made them slippery to walk on smooth floors. So I wore them outside and rubbed the bottom on freshly rained on concrete and the little felt like texture came off. I circled the felt texture part in green and where I removed it in red. So if your boots are slippery just rub the bottom on a rough slightly wet surface and it will wipe off. I gave 4 stars because I would think that putting this on shoes is a definite no no as it causes unnecessary danger to the wearer otherwise it’s a great boot.

These were better quality than I expected and so much more comfortable than most of my other boots. So cute and great material! The soles aren't slick at all so there were no issues walking through puddles or on icy surfaces. They fit true to size and were a great price!
