About the authors
Peter O’Dunne is a husband, father, triathlete, business owner of Mid-Atlantic Rubber Company and mentor to many.
Besides being positive and optimistic, Peter is passionate about helping others to find and use their unique gifts. Peter believes that most people have untapped gifts that would change their lives forever, not to mention the lives of others. But it takes faith and courage to take that first step.
Peter loves to witness people and businesses being principle-centered and other-focused. These are key ingredients for success and happiness.
Peter and his wife, Kathy, live in Maryland.
After hearing these fateful words, "I am sorry, but you have cancer," young Navy officer David Glover turned to triathlon to prove to himself that although he had cancer, cancer did not have him. Since his first triathlon in 1995, he's now finished 100+ races including 28 Ironman-distance events. His stories about the Navy, cancer, failed relationships and becoming an elite level triathlete are captured in his autobiographical book: "Full Time and Sub-Nine," published in 2006.
In 2016, David co-authored "With From Rust to Trust" with Peter O'Dunne who shares the approach that has worked for him to achieve success and peace of mind in life. Written from David point of view as he interviews Peter, "From Rust to Trust" is about the universal principles that can guide all of us. Principles that can be applied to business, athletics, personal growth, family, and friendships. Principles that can help us move from rust to trust.
David now coaches aspiring athletes, writes and trains in To-Shin Do martial arts. David is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (with distinction) and has Masters degrees from both Catholic University and Eastern Michigan University.
