I wrote “All Children Dream” because as a child, I had many scary dreams which I did not understand. My parents would always tell me it was just a dream and to go back to sleep. At some point, I stopped telling them my dreams and would lie awake at night, terrified until I finally cried myself to sleep. My parents were not trying to hurt me. They did not have the knowledge of what a dream is and downplaying it’s meaning was their way of trying to help. After studying dreams for the last 15 years, my understanding of dreams assisted with developing this child friendly guide that explains dreams and gives tools to gain insight into the dream world. The dreams in the book are my own, the little girl was created from pictures of myself as a child, but the creative flow came from the dream. This is not a typical book on dream analysis, where a symbol has specific meaning but rather, a book where dreams are more concerned with what the dreamer is feeling. ~Janean

    It's a lovely book to help children understand and deal with feelings brought up by dreaming. It not only talks about negative or frightening dreams, but also warm ones. It fosters a sense of safety with the use of angels to guard them.

    It's a lovely little book to help children deal with dreams, as seen through the eyes of a little girl. It takes a journey through her dream world. I like the way it tells of angels, and that a child can replace a scary dream by thinking of a positive dream. The illustrations are really cute.

    I received this book as a gift. It is a wonderful book for children, especially children that are having vivid dreams or nightmares. It helps them understand that dreams can show us how we are feeling. Beautiful illustrations too.
