My new favorite self improvement book
After stumbling upon 'Worthy' by Jamie Lima Kern on Audible (well Audible kept insisting for 5 days in a row that I would like it)I was immediately hooked. The sample alone drew me in, and within three chapters, I was convinced this book was something special. So much so, I felt compelled to start a book club to share its wisdom with other women.Now, I've purchased the hardback for myself for bookclub. (Yes I have 2 versions of the book it’s that amazing)Our book club meetings have been transformative. We're delving into topics like flipping the script and changing narratives.It feels like Jamie is speaking directly to me. One chapter, in particular, about starting a podcast struck a chord. I'd been toying with the idea for years but was always held back by fear. Thanks to 'Worthy,' my friend of 35 years and I are finally launching our podcast – no more excuses. Another bookclub member is starting back on her book that she started a year ago and put away.What sets 'Worthy' audio apart is Jamie's authentic delivery. Listening to her read it adds a layer of emotion that's hard to replicate.It's a book I'll revisit time and time again, drawing inspiration with each read or listen.As a fan of self-help and inspirational books, I've come across many that resonate to some degree.But 'Worthy' stands out as the one I connect with the most.
