About the Author

Lu Li is the founder of Blooming Founders, a London-based platform that supports and promotes female founders through events and a professional network. She is the UK ambassador of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, a judge at the MassChallenge accelerator, a mentor at the Google Launchpad accelerator and part of the Techstars community leadership team. In her previous corporate career, Lu has launched FMCG products for Procter & Gamble across Western Europe and has worked on several consulting projects for McKinsey, BMW and T-Mobile.

An inspiring and insightful book and an excellent idea from Lu Li to publish letters offering advice from 66 successful female entrepreneurs who have made $1 Billion in revenue. Advice like this is not easy to come by as most aspiring entrepreneurs would not have access to these founders who have kindly shared their wisdom and experiences. Refreshing to see founders from various backgrounds and different countries across a wide variety of industry areas, this book should resonate with all aspiring entrepreneurs anywhere in the world regardless of background. I will certainly be using this book as a point of reference as I climb the entrepreneur ladder of success.

Instead, it's more of a motivational collection which you can revisit, especially on those days when you're feeling Impostor Syndrome. Overall, a great book with a lot of helpful mindset advice. After reading one letter, I am pretty sure the description on the cover..."66 letters of advice from Women Entrepreneurs who have made $1 billion in revenue"....is cumulative gross revenues!

Decent book if it weren't incredibly misleading about the success of the entrepreneurs featured. Considering there are plenty of women that actually have done this, the book is slightly offensive too.
