Brian Lawenda, MD, is a Harvard-trained radiation oncologist and integrative oncology and functional medicine expert in the Pacific Northwest. He launched IntegrativeOncology-Essentials to share integrative oncology news and resources and created IOEProgram, an online educational program covering topics patients need to know before, during, and after cancer treatment. Dr. Lawenda has been named as a "Top Doctor" in both U.S. News & World Report and "America's Top Doctors" in radiation oncology from 2014 to 2023. He is currently the Medical Director at GenesisCare in Kennewick, Washington, and servers as the National Medical Director of Radiation Oncology for GenesisCare US. Dr. Lawenda has over 100 scholarly contributions, articles, and presentations and has published two groundbreaking books on oncology and functional medicine.

    This is the best all-in-one book for anyone who is fighting cancer and had to rebuild their body and mind again after treatment. This takes a deep dive into nutrition, stress, hormones, testing, how to build your support network and so much more. Each section has so many additional resources and also it does a job in educating on how the body works so you can be in control of your recovery. Highly recommend to the patient, loved ones or practitioner! Well written and laid out in a format that makes it easy for everyone to learn!
