It has the foot rest that you can extend which helps me when I want to sit with my feet up, crossing my legs, and lying down. I have a bad back and legs (I sit all day) and this has been AMAZING! It is so comfortable, and I love that I can change positions when I need to. No more doing my nails or coloring on my coffee table. Would highly recommend - it was a little challenging to put together so I had my husband help, but it feels sturdy and great quality for how much it cost. I wish I had purchased this a long time ago!
