I really love this tape. I use it in industrial type situations all the time for different things and it holds up amazingly well. Recently I created a battery bank for a UPS and taped the batteries into a set so I could slide them in. It gets hot in that UPS regularly sitting at over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for years at a time, and this tape doesn't miss a beat. The set of batteries I pulled out from 2 years ago also had this tape on them and they were stuck together like new. No issues.
I have even used these to tape down solar panels to the roof of one of my trailers and they haven't moved an inch.
Here are some pro-tips to get this to stick to its highest potential:
1. Prep. Yes, we all know it's a time vampire, but if you prep the surface correctly, it WILL stick like you won't believe. Not only should you clean the surface with soap and water and get all the gunk off, the real trick is right before you apply the tape, shoot it down with some denatured alcohol. Give the alcohol a minute or two to dry and stick this tape on. The alcohol removes all the contaminants from the surface and gives you pristine sticking power. The difference it makes is amazing.
2. Cut an extra length to hang off each side because you're going to get fingerprints/oils/dirt on the very end of the tape. It's just a reality and what you do is leave yourself a half inch or so on each side and then trim it back with a razor blade when done and you'll keep that perfect bond.
3. When trying to start pulling off the strip on the second side, use the edge of a razor blade or exacto knife or something to get underneath and lift (Don't pry... lift) and you'll be able to get it off without munging the end. If you followed step 2, you'll cut off the end where you might have made little marks with the razor blade anyway, and everything will be nice and clean and stick for a long time, in all kinds of adverse conditions.
4. For the super paranoid, if you're using in particularly harsh or outdoor environments, run a bead of silicon over the mating surface edge after you've given this stuff time to set and you'll find that no water can intrude (even though it says waterproof, what no proof it some more?) and it will hang on to the surface for a very long time, even under reasonable load.
This is some of best stuff you can buy, I use it any time I have a "Must hold" situation.

Quick Application Tips:
1. For best results, surfaces should be cleaned with a 50-50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
2. Refrain from touching the adhesive to avoid contamination.
3. Apply tape vertically on the back of the object for even weight distribution.
4. Remove the liner and ensure object alignment with the preferred surface.
5. Make a firm press to create a strong, permanent bond.
Removal Tips:
1. Use a heat gun or steamer to reduce adhesion.
2. Lift the edges with a sharp, flat tool.
3. Peel the edges slowly in one direction at an acute angle.
IMPORTANT: This is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage or leave residue when removed !!

Is this tape removable?
This tape is designed to bond permanently, so once it has been applied, it’s not easy to remove. But you can use WD-40, Goo Gone or a simple mixture of water and lemon oil to remove residue.
Why is difficult to remove the red protective film?
This is determined by the raw material and production process. We have provided you with a peeling tool to make it easier for you to remove the back film.
Why is the tape not as sticky as you advertised?
The adhesive strength of the tape is related to these factors: surface, pressure, time, and temperature. For maximum bonding strength, please follow the recommendations below:
1. Clean the surface before applying and make sure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, smooth and free of oil.
2. Apply some pressure to the tape before peeling off the red backing, and apply final pressure to the mounting object after mounting is complete to create a strong, permanent bond.
3. For maximum bonding strength, please do not hang heavy objects immediately after tape application and be patient for another 72 hours.
4. Ideal tape application is accomplished when temperature is between 70° F and 100°F (21°C and 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.
Why does the tape not smell very good?
The tapes are made up of raw materials such as modified acrylics, and these materials can produce some unique smells when mixed. But please don't worry, they are absolutely safe for the body. You can store the tapes in a ventilated area to reduce this smell.

I used a whole roll of this tape to mount a nylon banner to the exterior of my building. I've attached a photo to show you that the banner is not heavy or unusual. (It's the red bear banner on the left. The banner is nylon and the total weight is about the same as a lightweight tee shirt.)
I taped the banner on all four sides - top to bottom. Did I mention I used the whole roll?
The banner hung for about 1 hour before it limply fell off the tape and on to the ground. AND the tape was no longer sticky or salvageable. Sunny day. No moisture. Clean surface.
It would not be possible for this tape to hold anything other than paper, and even then, I have my doubts.
I want my time back for having to remove it from the building where it was more like a putty, than an actual permanent sticky tape.
Unbelievably bad. After reading the positive reviews, I can't help but wonder if I got a bad batch, because this was laughingly worthless.
This was really a bad purchase. Probably one of my worst. I do not recommend.
