You don't want to be hiking to far with this one because it heavy and bulky. The bulk comes from it being so big but it's a good pad for the money. It much better than that green and gray g€ar Dr. one. If you get a little hole in it you've got to use tenacious tape to patch it because the glue doesn't work. It's very slick rip stop so you will probably slide around on it unless you put some type of anti slide tape or something like that. If you're on level ground then you're good. All in all it's a good camping pad. It will do what it's supposed to but it's big. One more thing is upgrading the valve from brass to plastic would be better. The five year warranty isn't bad either. 4 stars because of how slick it is and the brass valve.

I know this is just 1.5 in. (ultra thick, says description), but the close-up of the woman's hand in the video holding the pad from the side makes the pad appear thicker than 1.5 in., so I would assume that it is thicker (I held my pad in my hand and compared it to the photo) If they have other versions that are thicker, they shouldn't use them in images for a 1.5 in. pad (or is the photo shopped to stretch the pad?). And vid does not show the woman blowing in a few extra puffs after it "self-inflates." I have COPD so that's not gonna happen. I actually thought this was an air pad and didn't look at enlargements of the small images until after I had it in hand, but it is mostly foam padding with holes where air can get in. I already have a foam pad that is not working for me, so wanted an air pad. If a young person with some meat on them needs a bit of padding when camping, this may work, but my old bones cannot take rubbing against any surface. Gotta keep looking for an air pad, I guess.
