I bought 4 of these amazing little jacks to use for repairing braces on acoustic guitars. Similar working jacks sold at luthier supply houses go for as much as 60$ and aren’t near the quality! Some lubricant on the threads and pivot points and these incredibly well built jacks blow the more expensive ones out of the water! Very cool….
This is the first thing on my work bench my non rc friend's point out. "IS that a mini jack!?" It's got a nice feel to it and I use it to hold up my trx4 when working on it. Makes the whole experience that much better
great looks ,disappointing action. does't provide full range of motion. but if you lioke the looks and expect it to work, then its ok. little pricey, but that's just what they cost.
These scissor jacks are just what this guitar doctor needed to perform brace repair inside an acoustic guitar. Once I an added a larger footbed and lubricated the moving parts with TriFlow, this little jack is GREAT!
