- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2024Ben Jones provides an introduction to AI that should be pretty understandable to most readers interested in the topic. In fact, I found it a bit more understandable, perhaps because of his many illustrations and analogies, than Leo Lexicon's AI for Smart Pre-Teens & Teens. My one critique is that while most of the illustrations were helpful, his graphs of Google NGrams showing the references to various terms in books over time were way too small for me to read -- made me wish I had the Kindle version, which I usually order, rather than the print version.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2024I enjoyed the conversational tone of this book. I haven’t been keeping up with AI and was worried some stuff would be over my head, but I was able to follow the explanations easily. This book is a great foundation.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2024I've worked in AI for over 10 years and LOVE this book. It is my number 1 recommendation to anyone slightly interested in the field, or just looking to learn more about it. Ben does a fantastic job breaking down difficult concepts and making them easy to digest.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2024A highly enjoyable and easy read covering both the history and evolution of AI, as well as several sections with a lot more depth. It explains the connection to data, and various bias in the popular AI tools of today. The book explains the pros and cons in the last section, and there is a really good glossary as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dynamic and fluid reading about AI. great.
Excellent book for a quick understanding of artificial intelligence. The illustrations and layout help to reinforce understanding of the themes. I recommend it mainly to anyone who needs to understand what AI is. The appendix also contains cited digrams and an excellent glossary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read to get very high level overview of AI
Short and easy to read. You won't become AI expert but you'll get the basics how the AI works and have basic terms about AI explained.
