This is THE book for performing exhaustive Functional Behavior Assessments in the school setting. There are SOOOO many poorly trained behavior specialists in the schools (also a lot of good ones too:) who constantly use the excuse that they can't do Functional Analyses or Treatment Analyses in the school because of space limitations, safety reasons...blah, blah, blah. These guys totally dispel that mindset and truly espouse and define a thorough and comprehensive process for conducting FBA's in a rigorous and scientific manner. If anyone ever asks me about a published model for conducting FBA's in the school, this is the ONLY book I would refer them to. These guys are school psychologists and BCBA-D's and they disarm all the excuses I hear from school personnel about why or how its not possible to do great evals in a school setting. Get..this..BOOK...It will pay for itself in an hour.
