    Not sure what happened, maybe hubby got water on the digital part. Manufactured without water seals? Do I have a defect?? It is supposed to be water proof. :/We brought this in June 2023, used it a few times , 4th July, veteran's day, and Thanksgiving. But the numbers are partially showing 🤔 it's good and it works. We like magnet to fridge so it's always handy and turns on when open , shuts off when closed.Overall 4/5Just avoid water 💦 to the handle for sure.

    Well ! What i had i think had mercury in it! Really? Time to upgrade, Sarah! I used this on scallops and it seemed to be so easy - i guess it worked - they're so small and fragile.     Do not recommend this thermometer or this seller! I purchased this in June 2023, after just over one month of very light use the digital screen stopped displaying the temperature properly. Instead of displaying the accurate temperature it would display gibberish. I only used this probably 5 times total! In addition to the fact the item broke after only a few uses, the magnet was very poor and wouldn't even hold the weight of the thermometer when stuck to the fridge.

    The seller refused to send a replacement or a refund even though I sent in a request only days after their apparent 30 day "replacement/refund policy "

    I am happy to be the first and only review of this product so far and hope this review will deter anyone else from purchasing this item!
