Absolutely loved this book. Had me on the edge the whole way through Ward D. As a nurse, the book was well written with proper medical jargon, unlike other books I've read. Highly recommend this thriller. A continuation of Will and Amy would be awesome. Maybe a continuation of Jade or a spin-off of Jade. This is the 4th book of hers I've read. Definitely on my lists of authors I love to read. She is right up there with James Patterson and Michael Crighton.

4.5 stars: Amy Brenner, med student, has a 12 hour overnight rotation in the psychiatric ward. She’s nervous about it but keeps telling herself everything will be fine. However, it turns into a night full of twists and turns and she’s not sure who to trust.

Honestly, I was right there with her. I started reading it before bed but then put it down so I could finish it during the day, haha. There were interesting characters and the plot moved quickly so it held my attention the entire time. This is one of my favorite books by this author!

I am a big McFadden fan and have read several books. I am making my way through her library of books. I have to say this was not one of my favorites. Yes it kept me reading but I found myself skimming over a lot of the "filler" info to get to the good parts. I figured out the twist pretty quickly which was one of the reasons that I wasn't as impressed with the book. I usually bounce around from character to character thinking it's multiple people before coming to the realization that I was close but there is still a good surprise that makes it all worth the read. This one just left me wanting more and honestly I feel like it will be forgettable.

I will say this book completely caught me off guard. I have been putting off reading this author for a while, but this book was recommended to me on Books Instagram. So I thought I’d give it a go.
I absolutely ate this book up within two days and most likely 24 hours if you want to be Technical.

I won’t say this is the most well written book I’ve ever read, but it is a really good time and a really good easy thriller. It’s the type of thriller. I wanna read after a long day of work where I don’t need to use my brain too much but I still get to be surprised. The twist were pretty decent for being a cozy thriller.

Overall, I had a really good time reading this and I’m about to jump into another book from this author

Loved this one! I really appreciate the lead character is AS spacey as they are in many of McFadden’s other books, and I love this twists that you experience as you’re uncovering the truth. This is certainly one of her “darker” books, but incredibly captivating.

Ward D is well written. Kept me wanting more and keeping the book in my hand. Slightly predictable, maybe I have just learned the writing style now. Freida is still a top author in my book… pun intended!

Wow, the prejudices against people with mental health issues just is staggering in this book. It seriously made me question Frieda McFadden as an author, a phsycology expert and human being. What are her values? How can anyone even write this? I felt deeply disturbed and hyrt by this stupid, stupid book.

Imbarazzante. Sembra scritto da una ragazzina di 15 anni, non è nemmeno definibile “thriller”. Leggetelo solo se volete farvi due risate.
