Simply an incredible radio that captures shortwave, medium wave and FM. In addition, internet radio with the ability to insert all the stations you want, without limitations. Perfect SSB operation. The only recommendation I leave for those who buy it is to update via cable and not update via the internet, as the screen may go black, but it is still possible to recover the radio as I did 🙌. I remember that this radio is designed for the 4G bands in the United States for friends in other countries who want to buy it. I can use the radio here in Brazil, although on Wi-Fi and in some specific places where American 4G is available via chip here. The radio doesn't come with the brown cover like the Chinese version does, I'm trying to purchase one from the company. There is no FM RDS on this receiver. Other than that, everything was perfect.

This is a new purchase and I can only scratch the surface, but this is a HUGE ADVANCE in Radio.
Crystal clear INTERNET RADIO from around the globe, and it’s organized in many ways. This capability requires wifi and a internet connection, but provides good sound from thousands of stations. It will allow you to choose a country, or a continent, a state, and more. You can then scan your selection, separating the radio stations and create a list and refine further by favorites.
A telescoping antenna allows reception of radio frequencies from SW, FM,MW (AM). ……..There is MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!
It is YouTube and more is being added regularly. Check this out, it’s worthwhile.

Definitely the finest radio I've seen. Very rare. It's one of a kind and difficult to find. Steep learning curve but well worth it. AM FM SW and Internet radio. Also uses BT and takes a SIM card for 4G! Note: Not designed for AM DX'ing. But you can plug in an external antenna for that! Besides there are over 40,000 Internet radio stations built in. Has bandwidth filters, fine tuning steps and on/off timers. Shortwave DX'ing was excellent with external antenna! FM was also very good. Sound quality excellent. Radio accepts program updates. Found a nice travel case for it to carry it and my stereo headset. USB C charging. Has two 2,500 milliamp batteries in it! User replaceable. Backlit key pad! Very impressive. High quality. Steep learning curve. Hopefully there will be more user guides available online about the LC90 as time passes. It will take time. But don't let that put you off if you're sharp on learning stuff. I am well pleased and fine with its price. Definitely not your Grandparent's radio! Added: Does have Bluetooth and does take a Sim card. However this is not a radio to pair with your car. It's to complicated to use and not recommended in that environment. There are radio phone apps for that sort of thing. This radio is best for exploring radio stations from your lazy boy at home. Use a headset or pair it with your Bluetooth speaker. Besides, this is a big radio.

Hi-I have always been hesitant to pursue “new to market” electronics. I was hoping this purchase would be an exception, well it wasn’t. Sadly the radio has issues unfortunately ‘deal breakers’ for me.
Manufacturer is definitely heading into right direction w/design. Its attractive, SIZE & PORTABILITY of unit is wonderful. Built-in clickers on both the tuning knobs is PRIMO! Sound is way above average for a radio this size, seems broadcasting voices project muffled”.
FM reception is poor. In comparison my Pocket size R-108 pulls in weaker signals much better.
Shortwave and AM are just as bad.
Radio definitely needs “search options” happy both tuning knobs are user friendly. Forget about setting the clock ‘it is what it is’ off an hour.
Price tag is excessive but what isn’t these days? From an operating perspective it’s a difficult radio. Hopefully revisions are on horizon.
Did not confirm advertised over 40k Wi-Fi channels, apparently if they are available then most are NOT English, LOTS of foreign stuff and most major wifi stations are missing.
Enough said I would encourage buyers to carefully read ALL reviews. Radio definitely needs improvement.
A back stand & decent (actual) manual would be a nice touch.
Revision: Headphone and external antenna ports need to be relocated, now terrible positions. Previously mentioned sound is ‘muffled’ bass driver possibly too much? Radio sounds much better listening with headphones or ear buds. Separate treble/bass controls would solve this problem.

I am 67 and since I was 13 years old I have been a fan of radios. At that young age my favorite band was short wave because at that time it was the current Internet. Currently, most SW stations no longer exist as before. I am not used to writing reviews but some negative comments in these reviews about this radio have led me to write this. This radio is fantastic as described in the Farpoint Farms YouTube video through which I learned about it. I'm lucky to buy it quickly here on Amazon because they quickly sold out and now it's unavailable. No other current Internet radio has the features that this one has. The fact that it does not have SSB and AIR Band does not minimize this radio because for those frequencies there are other radios and they are of little use. And that many radio stations are in languages other than English, I'm sorry but that's how planet Earth is configured, a multi-cultural one. The radio is very entertaining, of good quality and with excellent sound quality. You will see other brands copying what this radio offers mainly on the Internet band. To finish, this is my first internet radio and it's good that this was the one I bought. Using it is like getting on a plane and visiting all those countries around the world from your home.

Only supports 2.4 G and they don't tell you until you have the radio and read the sorry looking Instructions that they provide. Definitely not worth the price of admission.
