In this tale of a goddess and her servant consort, Ms. Sage gives us a heartwarming romance with some gentle femdom notes. The leads are likeable and identifiable, which is all the more impressive for the lady's divinity. As is fairly typical of a Miko Sage/Harper Euphoria story, there is not much in the way of a courtship period before the MMC and FMC are brought together, but I appreciate that as it gives her more time to give us what I really enjoy - character development. And oh boy, does this one deliver that in spades! The ups and downs of the relationship between a goddess and her lover (who was, thankfully, anything but a doormat as these tales are wont to produce) were believable in the context of the setting and backstory, and the way it resolves is <chef's kiss>. There are some spicy bits too, and all well written, but nothing overly lurid or that detracted from the story. All in all, I loved this book, and can't wait for her next piece. Highly recommended! 5 stars.

Overall I liked the story. Only aspects I found odd were initially how much the male MC was resistive to his position, how toxic his sister was about it, and the ruling family's entire actions.
The bulk of the story between the MCs I thought was well done and the book wraps up in a really good place.
