Volunteers are the lifeblood of any non-profit!
As someone who led volunteer teams in many organizations, I can tell you how important volunteers are. Getting them to serve, getting them skilled, and keeping them engaged is harder than it sounds (Well, it actually sounds difficult when you say it).Jonathan and Jason not only have experience in this, but have gone to the experts and found out how to do those very things. Compiled in one handy guide for your convenience, this book is invaluable if you lead volunteer teams. Their conversational style makes it easy to read and follow. If you are a Pastor or team leader, you need to get copies for all of your leaders. It is a great resource.

Practical strategies that are already used in various locations. Not just a book about theory…but how to! Also, greatly appreciated heartbeat and stories shared…phenomenal book about thr “why” as well!

I read this book on a recommendation from a friend and it covers some of the most important things necessary to keep volunteers engaged and on board with your organization's mission. So if you've ever had difficulty in the value proposition you offer to your volunteers, this might be the help you need to get focused.

Not only have I read this, I've purchased a few copies to give to friends in ministry. It's built on some solid principles and gives great ideas that any church can follow. When you read it, you won't be depressed by all you should be doing...you'll be inspired by what is possible.

I wish I had this book when I started leading my ministry three years ago! It has become my go-to manual and has transformed the way I view, equip, and invite my volunteers. I find myself revisiting it from time to time when I need advice on how to handle something. It not only provides practical advice, but addresses the heart posture that is needed behind it all. You’ll wish you read it sooner!

The book seems to have valuable information but the quality is so poor. The pages literally just fall out of the book.
