I am not sure at this point how I feel about this series. I am hooked and intrigued, but at the same time not 100 percent convinced by the way things are playing out. Especially there at the end because their solution to the situation was…odd. Hey, you are threatening our business so…let’s make things a thousand times worse? Really?

Also, before they figured her out, nothing had really happened that seemed enough to make everyone quit before they could win. The repeated suggestions that they would do far more awful things as the game progressed wasn’t convincing.

I am really hoping for a satisfying grovel or major guilt trip later when they find out her real situation because the whole bunker thing is awful. What she did doesn’t compare at all to what they are doing.

This whole review probably sounds like a complaint, but really, this book just evokes complicated feelings, which is a far better reaction than a boring or badly written book would get. I am definitely going to be picking up the next book to find out what happens!

This story has consenting adults, playing consenting games with proper safe protocols. When a lie is discovered, those protocols are removed and consent, plus ones right to use a safe word, removed. Now, options were mentioned, to go forth in a safe manner, yet this wasn't acceptable. And in that moment, a series I planned to read, became one I will not touch.

I/we read stories to set the real world aside, but I feel certain tropes and subject matter, need to ride a fine line. I will read these talented authors in the future, though I must say it will be with greater caution. I've said my piece, and wish everyone well.

This is a great first book in The Limit series and I'm looking forward to the next book. This story captivated me from the very beginning and I love these characters. Honor is mistaken for someone else and doesn't bother to correct the four men who are offering her one million dollars if she completes the game the have set up. She decides to play the game because she could use the money and even if she doesn't finish she'll still get two hundred thousand dollars. What could go wrong???

I love this book, I was looking for something dark and why choose romance and this book truly delivered in the dark and why choose. The story it’s soo dark and the scenes are sooo good, you really have to be prepare when reading this, the humiliation and degradation are STRONG and the consensual non-consensual it’s extremely playing in the border of this two.
I love the storyline, the primal hunt and everything this book has. Will be reading the hole story and love all of their characters.

I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone, just specific persons that I know and I know what they can endure.
