On with the review, as with any non insulated cot I used a sleeping pad. My pad is the same pad I hike with, a BA Qcore SLX with a fairly high R value (keeps you warm in snow). I would say with any canvas cot that if you want it to be “perfect” then you need your preference sleeping pad. That being said, I slept like a baby. The pad on the ground isn’t terrible which is why I bought it. But on the cot with a bit of air let out I seriously was quite comfortable. And warm. The cot is not overly stiff as was my buddy’s that came along (his was the generic cot sold on Amazon as well). With the combined give of the canvas and the nice pad I really had a great nights sleep.
As people have said the legs don’t lock in. The pressure of your weight keeps everything in place. This was never a worry as it is quite sturdy. Where you encounter any leg issues is if you start moving/relocating the cot around. The cot basically starts to fold up like you are putting it away. I did not find this to be an issue after I did it once. And there is no worry when on it.
It sets up very easy and equally easy closes up for rebagging. It is heavy, so for the odd person who thinks this is a hike-in cot it isn’t. But it wasn’t intended to be. It’s for car camping. I also like that it easily goes into the storage bag. Hate bags that “just fit” and it’s a struggle to get back in. This one is easy. Lastly the little add on table is nice. I didn’t really use mine sine my tent has pockets in each corner that were right where they needed to be in relation to the height it’ll of the cot (bonus), but I could see it being useful. Frankly I could care less about the table though so I won’t really say anything here other than it attaches firmly and seemed as though it would be useful.
This cot is wide and comfortable. I am 5’11 and 165lbs and I had enough room length wise and felt very supported with no sag. The cot is very easy to setup.
It’s great when sleeping under the stars in uneven terrain where rocks would make it impossible to sleep on the ground. The side table is great for water bottles, head lamps, etc…
The cot folds easy enough and fits into the carrying bag well. I though the zipper on the bag would blow given the rough conditions of the Grand but it lasted the three weeks in the sand and water.
This cot is built well which makes it heavy.
I look forward to more nights under the stars on this cot.

It's heavy, but not enough to bother me. i wouldn't want to carry it through the woods a long distance, but it's great for an extra bed in a house, having a bed at a friend's house, or car camping. it fits into the carry bag no problem and the bag has a really nice carry strap.
It does move up and down when you get on/off, especially at first, but not in a way that's problematic. It's very sturdy. I'm a larger person (~235 lbs) and have no issues.
It also does make noise when you move around on it (which is why I dropped it to 4 stars). i was sleeping on it sharing a room with someone and i felt bad about that. Luckily, they were a sound sleeper, so they didn't hear it once they were asleep. It also didn't make enough noise to wake me up when I was sleeping.
Top reviews from other countries
This is a very solid cot and those who are concerned about the legs collapsing need not to worry. Unless you're moving it around for who knows what reason, it will stay put even if you shuffle around on it.
The cot without a pad is quit comfortable and I can see myself using it sleeping on my side no problem.
The attachable table/drink holder is also very solid and mine doesn't droop like in some photos. If yours does, you can use some vice grips and bend the metal to be tighter on the frame.
I purchased the Coleman sleeping pad, which does add a great deal of comfort to it. I'm looking forward to camping with it, seriously.
It's high off the ground (18 inches give or take) and you can probably store all your gear in your tent under there.
No bars to dig into you. You're not on the ground, you have the space and it collapses into a reasonable size bag. Not small but not gigantic.
Highly recommend for "glamping" as some may call it. Get a pad for added comfort, but if not, it's definitely comfortable enough, but won't compare to a bed that's for sure.
Is this large enough for a couple? Definitely not. You're looking at a double mattress for that, unless you guys don't like moving around at night and want to be touching the sides of this. I will have to opt for a doubke mat for my gf, but as a solo camper, this is just awesome. I don't like to sleep on the ground or near the ground. That's just me.
Enjoy!
