About the author
Cheryl isn't anyone famous. She doesn’t have any awards to mention (unless her Grade 7 band award counts...) and she certainly wouldn’t consider herself a professional author. She is just a regular human who's had a lifelong love affair with creative writing, always has a billion thoughts milling around her brain, and will be thrilled beyond words if even a handful of people read her books.
Cheryl lives in Ontario, Canada where she is the wife of an amazing guy and the mother of one incredible daughter with whom she spent countless, delightful hours reading and wondering if one day she too could write a children's book.
She now has 4 books to her self-published, literary name with her next book due for release in October 2024.

- Reviewed in Canada on January 31, 2023What a fresh approach to explaining different "feelings" to youngsters!!
I purchased two copies one for my 8 year old daughter and gifted one to a friend's little girl who is 4.
I love that it goes beyond the typical "mad", "sad", "happy" emotions and helps to explain many of the other emotions that kids feel in a smart, light hearted, funny way.
It opened up conversations with my daughter and helped me to have a nice easy starting point on topics I may typically be a bit lost in regards to how to start explaining.
If you're looking for a unique book that both kids and parents can enjoy...this is it.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 28, 2023A poetic and funny book that gently touches on feeling ands emotions. Every child should have this book any age. I loved it and bought it for my pregnant cousin and it was a great addition to my cottage library for all the visiting children. The author does a fantasist job of rhyming each letter of the alphabet with a short sentence and a fun characterization! Love love. More to come from this author I hear, and can’t wait to read the next one!
- Reviewed in Canada on February 13, 2023I was pleasantly surprised by how fun and engaging this book is. Fun for adults to read as well! We love reading this to our son. If you know someone having a baby or a kids birthday coming up consider getting this book in lieu of a card!

- Reviewed in Canada on January 19, 2023We love reading this book to our son, and plan to continue doing so!
A colorful, charming collection of our many feelings, explained for littles with big emotions to comprehend. Humorous and heartwarming.
We also enjoy the incorporated alphabet lesson!
