I bought this specifically for my combination belt / disc sander.I also hooked it up to my shop vac that is attached to the belt sander.This is SO convenient! I really wish I had purchased this years ago.I can hold on to the material I am working on, press the pedal, and both my sander AND my vacuum turn on. I am much more efficient. Not to mention that I don't have to keep that shop vac running the whole time I am sanding stuff.I use this pedal almost every day. I stayed away from plastic pedals. I want something that will last.It is holding up well. I don't expect it to give me any trouble.This pedal is made really well. It is sturdy.I don't know that I abuse it, but I am 220 pounds and wear size 12 heavy boots, so I am not light on it.It is a good foot switch.

    There are times when you just need both hands when operating a drill press and, this little foot pedal almosts checks all of the boxes. Installation was as simple as plugging the drill press into the switch then, plugging the switch into the power source. While I have not used it a lot, during my test run, it performed quite well.

    If I had to suggest to WEN what improvements they could make that would make this nearly perfect it would be to make it a little larger and use less plastic and more metal.

    Awesome! Does a perfect job. The trigger switch on our chop saw went to hell and we were turning it on by plugging it in and unplugging it (AWFUL DO NOT RECOMMMEND). This was a brilliant fix. Just be sure to keep it tucked under your bench so you don't accidentally step on it, and be sure to unplug when you're done!

    I connected a 3 output power adapter to the cable and one tool and shop vac to the power adapter. I am using this with my scroll saw and I am able to start and stop the saw without taking my hands off the part and the vacuum goes on and off at the same time.

    I will buy a couple of more of these for other tools. I think it will be handy for belt/disk sander and possibly my band saw.

    I purchased this WEN pedal to use specifically with my Yardworks 9 ton electric log splitter, I am very impressed and so happy I purchased it, It has made splitting firewood so much safer, the splitting operation far more efficient and now I always have one hand free instead of one hand pushing the start button and the other hand pulling the control lever. This pedal is extremely well built, a steel case and body not plastic, 4 real rubber feet on the under side to prevent slippage, real rubber ribbed push pad on top to prevent foot slippage. Depressing the pedal very lightly throws on the power, no need to fully depress. The power is quickly cut off as soon as you release it. This pedal can be used with any and most tools running 110-120 volts up to 15 amps capacity, use with just about anything really. So easy to plug in and use, nothing complicated here basically plug & play. It took no more than10 minutes to get use to operating my firewood splitter with it.
