I have zero experience with the Kindle pen, just using one on my iPad and I love that one.This pen is absolutely useless. The screen senses the pen when it gets within 1/2 inch or so from the screen and it starts "writing" at this point. When lifting the pen between letters or words the pen simply keeps drawing a line. When trying to select or highlite a section of text there's no predicting what is going to happen. It might switch pages, it might highlite a unrelated section of text or it might just do nothing.The problem is of course that the pen starts working once it gets close to the screen, I'm wondering if there is a way to "downtune" or desensitize this thing??? Sadly I can't find any documentation on it.EDIT: It was defective. I got a hold of customer service and the kind person that helped me literally said: "This is kind of out of the ordinary, but do you have a hard surface you can drop the pen on?" I laughed and dropped the pen from 4 feet onto the hardwood floor. First time no luck, but the second time I dropped it on the eraser part and that fixed it!!!So it seems that there's a little magnet in there that does all the heavy lifting, sometimes when shipping the magnet moves to the wrong spot and it causes all kind of troubles. Dropping the pen directly on the eraser moved the magnet back in place and all is well!! I love this setup now!!!!

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to my Marker Plus that was on the fritz. It accepts remarkable nibs and other compatible nibs. It is noticeably lighter and with it feel a little cheaper with its plastic build but the added button is interesting and looking forward to assigning some functionality to it in the future. The eraser works well and it's much springer than the marker plus. Overall works greats out if the box and for half the price it is a great replacement that doesn't break the bank.

While it can probably be argued that the Kindle Scribe Pen is at least a little overpriced, I'm pleasantly surprised at how long the replaceable "points" last. I've been using my Scribe every day since mid-November 2023, and I've only replaced the pen point one time.

The eraser feature and the programable shortcut button make this in my opinion the best tablet pad on the market. Even at this price I bought a spare pen to have around just in case I lose or damage the one that came with my Scribe.

I have 50 EMR Styluses over a 10 year period, and being a hoarder rarely throw them out. So... KIND OF AN EXPERT ON this tech and the stylus. I bought this for my S22 Ultra and my Tab S 8 Plus.

Pros:
-Same price as official Samsung Tab S8 stylus, or similar enough. BUT with the added benefit of an eraser.
-Good weight to it and length.
-Has an eraser, and the eraser has the best spring I've felt on these, it's nice and smooth, and depresses easily. Even on the official Samsung versions, their erasers felt terrible and were also squared off. This is nice and round; meaning you can use it at a more natural angle.

Cons:
-The side button is hard to find blindly. It's too flush with the shaft.
-Wished the eraser was a more rubber/TPU like material, a little softer.
-Sensitivity, this seems to be a thing with samsung, like samsung is VERY PARTICULAR with the frequency of these pens. Since this one isn't sensitive enough and I do need slightly more force than an official Samsung pen. NOW, I could pop open that side button and play with the pot under it and increase the sensitivity (or decrease it, either way, turn the potentiometer to make it register better). THOUGH, I think I figured this pen's issue, the stem on the nibs is ever so slightly too far, so the distance from the two coils is slightly too much, requiring slightly more force for it to start to register. Now this isn't a TERRIBLE example of this problem. I have a ton of styluses that worked well with the Tab S3 and Note 7FE that now magically don't work on the S22 Ultra or the Tab S8, as well as they used to.

Conclusion:
I bought this one and the King Write, but I returned the king write even though it was $10 cheaper, it wasn't sensitive enough to register as easily with the new Samsung devices as this pen does. I would recommend it, a little pricey for what's on offer, but finding an EMR pen with an eraser is rare, unless you want to pay the scalper price of ReMarkable, those prices are straight up criminal for an EMR pen. $80 for a 12 pack of plastic nibs, really? So, yes, I do recommend this one.

I love this freakin Pen. I orginally bought the basic pen... and switching back and forth from writing to highlighting to erasing is a bit laborious. So, being able to do all 3 without any interaction with the Writing Tool Bar is GREAT.
Also, and I didn't consider this before, it seems to make sense that the Premium Pen reduces wear on the nib, hopefully prolonging time in between replacing them. Since, you are not using the nib to erase as well as writing.
Also... for some reason, the tactile feel of the eraser feels pretty great.

Bought this and Samsungs S6 lite at the same time. Both of them work great on the Remarkable 2 but they are quite different. The Amazon pen has the big advantage of having an eraser. Although the push-in nature of the eraser took some getting used to, it works quite well. Both have a great writing feel, both accepts Remarkables original marker tips. But the difference in weight and thickness is pronounced. Those who prefer a slim, light pen will like the Samsung while if you prefer a sturdier pen the Amazon one is the better choice. Both stick securely to the device magnet. Both suffer a bit from having a flat side, for the Amazon pen I really have to adjust my grip to make sure the flat side is under my index finger. With the slimmer Samsung pen it is slightly less necessary. Overall, no complaints about either device. Quite interesting how different the experience is for the two pens, even though they have almost identical functionality and though both are very good indeed. I have a hard time choosing between them.

Nunca he tenido el lápiz oficial del Remarkable2, me parece desmesuradamente caro para lo que es. Así que cuando me compré el Remarkable2, compré el lápiz Staedler Noris Jumbo digital. Nunca he terminado de acomodarme a ese lápiz, ni a su forma ni a la "punta",... demasiado blanda y cuando llevas un pequeño rato escribiendo, empieza a "doblarse" supongo que de la fricción. Vi que el lápiz del Kindle Scribe también tiene tecnología EMR y vi los comentarios de otros usuarios respecto al lápiz del Kindle Scribe utilizado con el Remarkable2. Pensé que podía ser un buen reemplazo a un precio más razonable, ya que el lápiz Pro oficial del Remarkable2 ronda los 130€.

Compré el lápiz del Kindle Scribe con dudas, a las malas,... podía devolverlo si no funcionaba bien o si no me gustaba.

Llegó el lápiz de Amazon y ..... Madre mia!!!!!! estoy encantado, pero mucho, mucho, mucho, mucho. Es muchísimo mejor que el Staedler Noris Jumbo Digital, realmente siento la sensación de la escritura. Las puntas, se sienten como si realmente escribieses con un lápiz y se siente la "fricción" de la punta y de la pantalla rugosa del Remarkable2.

Además, se imanta perfectamente en el Remarkable2 por lo que se puede llevar adherido sin problema al dispositivo y desde mi punto de vista, creo que los imanes del lápiz de Amazon son lo suficientemente potentes para pegarse al lateral del Remarkable2 y que no se caiga. Tampoco esperemos que ningún lápiz se quede pegado a su dispositivo como si tuviese imanes de neodimio super potentes, todos los lápices (apple pencil, Surface Pen....) se despegan si se les da un golpe, este no es distinto y no entiendo algunos comentarios que dicen que no se pega bien. No se si los usuarios no ponen el lápiz en el lugar correcto o que pero a mi se me engancha perfectamente en el Remarkable2 tanto si lo pongo en la zona media del dispositivo como en la parte de arriba.

Así pues, no puedo estar más contento con este lápiz y si se me rompe o lo pierdo, tengo claro que volveré a comprar otro sin lugar a dudas.
