Very (even overly) informative (which makes me happy) for a very inquisitive 3 yr old who keeps ripping up flowers to see what’s inside.

I got this book because I loved the artwork. I have a science background and looked through it, and found that it was sufficiently informative about the biology of flowers, it's not just a book of great artwork, it's very informative, and it truly has eye-candy illustrations throughout the entire book. Easy for adults to comprehend, moderate difficulty for younger school children; there's actually a lot of information packed in that beautiful book.

WHAT'S INSIDE A FLOWER? is a gorgeously illustrated non-fiction picture book read about flowers. The book covers the basics from pollination to parts and growth. The focus is definitely on the illustrations, which are every bit as lovely as is suggested by the cover, but there are just enough words that readers can dive as deeply as they want to, checking out the names for all the parts of the flowers or just reading the overview text on each page.

This is a really basic overview of the topic, but it does show some cool details, like some different looking flowers, pollinators, and seeds. There is more than enough to spark interest from the budding scientist in your life, and this would be a fantastic beginning resource to learning more about flowers and plant life. The images throughout are beautiful with plenty of detail and interest to keep young minds engaged.

Highly recommend for inquisitive minds - this is a picture book that makes learning fun! Please note that I received an e-copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

The book is nice but seems to mismanaged or seems stuffed with information. Pictures and text are overlapped and not apealing to eyes. It's not worth the price I think.
