The cutting board I received is pretty low quality. It came out of the packaging slightly warped. The edges are sharp and the finish is pretty poor. It's got some sort of a surface finish on it so the board won't take oil. I guess they recommend oiling it (per included directions) as it's used and the wood is exposed as the factory finish is cut into during use. I've seen a much thicker, nicer wood cutting board at Walmart for about half of what I paid for this one. Lesson learned.

Based on my lackluster review, the seller reached out to me and offered me a full refund and to also keep the item. I appreciate their effort at resolving my disappointment with the board I received and will add one star to my review for their attention. I am not taking them up on the offer of a refund because I have utilized the board for utility purposes. I don't feel comfortable accepting a refund for something I'm keeping and still found a use for. My original comments on the product I received will still stand.

The 24 x 18 cutting board is beautiful !

It is stunning, actually. The wood is smooth and rich looking, plus it is heavy and won't move or slide on the counter (quartz). We followed the instructions, to wash with salt water to kill bacteria, and then I oiled it with Food Grade Mineral Oil. It takes 4 hrs. to overnight for the protective oil to seep into the wood. Then we just wiped it off, and it was ready.
We are extremely happy with this board.
