Heartwarming mother-daughter story
What I love about this book is how real it feels. A daughter has big feelings about growing up and her mother helps her navigate that journey with love, listening, and deep, heartfelt understanding. The illustrations are whimsical and harken back to childhood. This book would be a lovely read aloud for parents and children or even grandparents and children. It’s wonderful!

    This book is so smart and so sweet. My daughter is 9 years old and she was laughing as she read it. She told me how funny she thought the book was. She also told me it'd be good for parents! I think what's special about this book is that it's aimed at younger children, but its theme is true for everyone who is "growing up". At nine, my daughter has own worries and fears about growing up and I know that this book was comforting to her. And as parents it's helpful to remember that even when they're acting "big" our kids like to be reminded that they are our babies.

    This book is super cute and has a great message. My 3 year old daughter, who is currently in the middle of transitioning into all of the "big girl" things talked about in the book, absolutely loves this book and asks to read it every night before bed! Its such a wonderful, sweet book. Definitely recommend!!

    I enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end! This story is so relatable to any kid who does not feel ready to grow up and do ‘big kid’ things. My niece absolutely loves this story and I cannot wait to share it with my own children one day. Ivy is an incredible writer and I am looking forward to her future books!

    My niece loved this book! It was relatable to what she is currently experiencing and made her laugh at how the main character was trying to convince her mom that she was a big girl. We loved the adorable ending and the story was a heartfelt read!
