    Simple shutter release for GFX 50 Mark II
    This is a simple one button shutter release. Small, compact, lightweight. Works great on my GFX 50S II. It does have a hold function for bulb settings. My only con would be how and where it connects to the camera. I would not move the camera with this connected. It does come with a 45 degree connector which works great too. Definitely recommend!

      You get what you pay for. I first bought an inexpensive remote release and it wouldn't focus at a mid-point in pressing the button. The action would go directly from off to shutter release. I didn't like that because I never knew if the camera was focusing before taking the photo. I then bought this Fuji remote release and it does a focus at the mid-point of button travel, so I now know that my camera has focused the shot. That peace of mind is worth the extra bucks.

      It works as intended with my GFX 50R and is easy to set up and use, but it was way overpriced for what you get. $40 to send a signal to the camera. That's all it does. And it's not even a wireless remote. My very old Canon 60D has a wireless remote. You're largely paying for the Fuji name with this item. Third party remotes can be found on Amazon and ebay for quite a bit cheaper and I regret not going that route. Also, it says this works on the X-T3 but it certainly does not. I couldn't find the port anywhere on the X-T3 to plug this into. This doesn't matter because the X-T3 has a threaded shutter button that connect a shutter release cable to. However this means I will now have to carry two cables in my bag. I wish the GFX had a threaded shutter button that I could use the same cable I already have and use on my X-T3. Could've have saved myself $40, but I digress. It is what it is..

      This is the original OEM Fujifilm r100 remote purchased to use with my X-T3. It is new and the original OEM item and does exactly what it is designed and advertised to do. Amazon sells it for the OEM retail price. The only reason to purchase this on Amazon is for the convenience. Shipping is free with APrime but the item arrived a couple of days later than promised.
