I could not find 1" foam mats sold at lower price than these. The mats are high quality and perform exactly as I hoped they would.
These mats are indeed 1" thick high density foam and provide a firm yet cushioned surface for a variety of uses.
I bought these mats to place under a shag rug, to provide a more comfortable surface to sit on when sitting on the floor near a window in my bedroom. I no longer suffer from joint pain when getting up from sitting on the floor with these mats under the rug.
These mats are rather firm and do not provide a super soft, giving surface, but that's exactly what I wanted because high density foam has much greater longevity as opposed to low density foam.
The mats are perfect for protecting floors from heavy equipment, or for providing a more comfortable floor surface for sitting, standing, crawling, and other types of physical activities.
I am very happy with the product and depending on your intended use, I'm sure you will be happy with it as well.

Nice product. Large size and the thickness is great! They are quite plush. The only downside is that if you are placing them on a slick surface like hardwood, concrete, vinyl, etc they will slide. Not ideal for lots of movement like exercising. My husband and I are going to try and add some grips to the bottom.
Other than that they are great! They stay connected and are quick to assemble and unassemble.

Very nice for home workout corner. Got the 1" and love em. They like to become indented if you leave weights/heavy items on them for a while but they do the job they're supposed to.

I have a wood floor and needed to be creative for my Dobermans. I installed a few options in the main house but decided these were a good fit for inside the bedroom and around the bed. Not only does it offer secure footing outside their crates but also for when they get on or off my bed. I have noticed the comfort and security of this myself actually. I have a shattered spine, and any hard impact like heels on a wood floor first thing in the morning, can be earth shattering pain for me. I don’t do that often, but when I do, these now take the hit and prevent me from having to suffer. Not only that but my little dog who has a large tumor on his rear leg and can no longer jump, actually can’t jump onto the bed with the small lift and added security of grip.

These go together like a puzzle, very easy, but the edges are specific to that edge, so when using like I am, there aren’t enough. It was easily resolved with a razor blade, but the cleaner look would have been better. Also I have noted they scoot around a bit causing the connections to separate. I added carpet tape which helped most areas, but the one where we have the most traffic has pulled loose. I may have to do something more extreme for those tiles. I will add, I received a package that was slightly off, and didn’t connect fluidly. The company worked with me abc sent me a replacement package without issue. It’s always nice to know a company stands behind their products. Their responses were timely and professional, I felt like it would be handled appropriately from the start, and it was. That alone earns my future business. These are a good value and offer versatile options for flooring solutions. I needed something different, and these were perfect. I’m even considering a way to make the surface of my bathroom floor out of them. :-).

I got these so that my boyfriend and I can invite others over to roll, and practice Jiu Jitsu and sparring. These are better than all the other mats I could find on Amazon within a similar price range. They are twice as thick as other brands, and each square mat is twice as large as any other brands I’ve found as well. While I don’t think they are thick enough to throw your opponent to the ground, because obviously they are not as thick as the expensive gym mats at the Jiu Jitsu gym, rolling on them is extremely comfortable and you don’t feel the ground through them. They also look really nice, and two packs covered an entire room so now we have our own Jiu Jitsu room in our home. My friend bought a different brand and they were terrible, thin, and each square was so small for how much they were that we kept rolling off of them. He is going to get these mats instead now to replace the ones he bought. These mats are even more comfortable and thicker than my yoga mat as well so I don’t even use my yoga mat anymore. Worth the buy!

These were perfect for what we needed. I used them under my mattress pad while camping (car camping, not backpacking, these are definitely too big for that!) so that the mattress pad wasn’t directly on the ground. It worked really well! They’re thick and sturdy and I didn’t feel any lumps or bumps while sleeping. I plan on getting more for under my son’s pad as well. This when full assembled is just a touch smaller on all sides than a queen sized mattress so it was just the right size for us!
