- Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2021This is a compelling autobiography by someone who lived through years of homelessness and drug addiction, but finally with some help was ready and willing to turn his life around. For many years now he has been using his experience and understanding in order to help others.
I highly recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2020It was a message of hope through Mr. Brown's life journey It brought the message of faith and that people do care . Anyone who has struggled with addiction or mental health issues themselves or in their family will relate. It looks beyond the dysfunction and shows one light does make a difference . There is another side to the struggle and this mans life is an inspiration to others to not give up.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2021I recommend this book to anyone who is fighting an addiction. This is not a self help book. I don’t know if one can learn from another’s mistakes for we all have to make our own decisions but this is a gripping and inspirational story to say the least.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2020I had the privilege to work for Anthony Brown and be one of his first semester student for the Psychiatric Technology Program at Cypress College. We were his first cohort and we definitely left a lasting impression on him. He has definitely been an inspiration and the reason why I applied and made it into the LPT program. Reading his book put things in perspective for me and I now know why he does what he does for his patients. If you’re looking for some inspiration, I would encourage to read his book.
