  • The actual thickness of spacer is thinner than 0.5 inch front, but these spacers will raise the front end of your truck by true 0.5 inch front.

Installation:

  • Step1: Always block off your tires and make sure your vehicle is in park with your emergency brake on.
  • Step2: Use a hydraulic jack (jacks from spare tire kits won't be sufficient) and jack stands to lift your front two wheels off the ground. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct jacking points to safely lift the vehicle.
  • Step3: Remove your tires and raise your suspension with a floor jack on the axle so that the spring is compressed slightly.
  • Step4: Remove the spring retaining clip ,shocks and sway bar link.
  • Step 5: Install the leveling kit on top of the front strut. Make Sure the bolts are tightened.

    I had to reuse the old bolts!!! In the picture you can see the bolts from my 1 1/2" that i was taking out to put a 1/2" in. I had to reuse bolts cause the hardware store is closed and i need my truck in the morning. Why would you send bolts that don't work, plus the nuts are thin nits, not much thread there either.

    The bolts are not threaded far enough down to tighten the brackets to the lower control arm. The bolts are also of low quality. If you get this I would plan on making a trip to the hardwares tore and buying some grade 8 bolts/washers/nuts that are threaded further than these. If you somehow managed to make these work with your truck I'd be very concerned for your safety driving with them. The brackets themselves are good and are even sturdier and better manufactured than the motofab ones you can buy. I'm looking at them side by side and they're of much nicer quality and appearance.
