This dinnerware is fabulous looking. I love how it looks n the size. My only little issue is that I was looking for a light weight set (it implied it was light). I have arthritis on hands n wrists so they are heavy to wash, however I would recommend on look n size. As far as weight if you need something light this is not for you. I kept them because I really liked them.

Hard to describe the color. They are shinny, but not glossy white, just a bit of shine. The bowls are just deep enough for my cereal, and the larger bowls are great for soup and pasta. I like that I was not forced to buy the traditional sets offered. So many you forced to buy cups and saucers. This set was just what I wanted - no extras.

These came very nicely packaged, yet between the 2 sets I ordered 5 of the plates, 3 of the pasta bowls and 1 of the small bowls had chips, scratches, black spots in the finish, and several have sharp edges and bubbles. I am not a super picky person, but if I were I would probably find fault with more of these pieces. Some of them actually look used.

I am opting to replace one set to see how it goes, but I may end up returning everything. It's a good price, and I like the shapes and sizes of the bowls, but I'm not sure the quality is going to work for me.

I am updating this review. The replacement order was canceled by the vendor and supposedly my money is being returned. I cannot figure out how to get the second set refunded. I've delayed the return because repackaging and transportation issues to refund them are proving difficult. I may just go through my credit card company to get the money refunded. I would stay away from these dishes.
