I was looking for a lighter, more compact tablet holder for my DJI Mavic Air2 to use with my 10" iPad when I travel. I have a fancy aluminum, far more expensive mount that while solid, is large, heavy and frankly a pain to install on the remote. Most of the plastic mounts I've seen are flimsy and/or clunky, but this mount surprised me.
It's very cleverly designed, can be left on the remote and adds very little weight/volume. It feels pretty solid and with my iPad attached is quite comfortable to hold without the use of a lanyard. It does come with a slick lanyard mount that inserts into the antenna cavity, should you prefer to. I probably won't use that much and it does interfere slightly with full closure of the antenna.
In a pinch, you can still use your phone in the standard DJI mount, as this mount doesn't block that option. They also include a handy tool to install the mount, an appropriately sized cable and lanyard, in addition to the aforementioned lanyard mount.
I can't yet speak to durability, but if it does hold up, I suspect this will be my go-to tablet mount.

Two items not designed together but work great
It is obvious that these two items were not designed together, but it just takes 30 seconds with a Dremel tool to fixit. The way this clips to the controller, there is ZERO chance that DJI had not planned something like this originally and never released, its just too perfect, DJI marketing dept did not want to harm its other products. My AMOLED tablet is a massive improvement over any other display (besides brightness) that the OcuSync showes its real strength on a big screen.The balance on the table is fine and I can just grip the controller enough to manage the weight without the lanyard. With the lanyard it is effortless. The spring on the DJI controllers seems designed for tablets, there is no reason it needs to be this strong on a 6 inch phone.
