Glimpses of Love: The Most Excellent Way of Imperfection Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 4 ratings

If you're a recovering perfectionist, or ever struggled to embrace the imperfect messy in loving God, others, and yourself, Becky Gonzalez offers fresh encouragement with this simple advice: love leaves glimpses where you least expect it.

The journey of Glimpses of Love begins with a prayer for eyes to see. Noticing heart-shaped leaves on the ground becomes the catalyst for unlearning and relearning the most excellent way of love.

Whether you struggle with perfectionism or are just tired of feeling like a failure when it comes to love, Glimpses of Love helps make space for reimagined thoughts about imperfect love, encouraging you to have fresh eyes to see all that might have been there all along that just hadn't been noticed before.

What’s love got to do with it!?

What’s love got to do with it!?
This book so honestly and vulnerably walks through what love is (and what it isn’t). I love how Becky points to the love of God as being the only perfect love and his perfect love fueling our imperfect love. It’s helped me to see the perils of perfection, and people pleasing, and also made me smile and giggle along the way.

Loved this book! The moment I started reading it, I connected with the author as if we were talking together. She is down to earth and easy to relate to. The chapters are short in length, but the message is profound. I enjoyed taking my time to reflect on each point. It's not a book to hurry through, but one to savor.
