The Box Kindle Edition

5.0 out of 5 stars 1 rating

Who is this mysterious recluse named Solomon Boone who lives in Misty Hollow with his dog, Zeus, and his owl, Einstein? For those he chooses to help, things mystically occur in their lives, yet he claims no special powers and accepts no payment for his assistance. What transpires once people drop their requests for help into The Box at DeHart’s Country Store? Will Ben, the eager young reporter from the city, be able to discover Sol’s secrets?
How could Sol possibly find a resolution to all these heartbreaking situations before Christmas? A failing Christmas Train charity, a bankrupt orphanage, a marriage in shambles, and an old man intent on ruining what’s left of his lonely life. Perhaps Ben the reporter is destined to discover more than Sol’s secrets. How about the lovely girl Dakota who manages the lunch counter at DeHart’s grocery? Does she and Ben have a future connection? What special role in all this does Zeus and Einstein play? Are they really what they seem?
The characters who inhabit these pages are unforgettable, and they will pull at your heartstrings. They will anger you, make you laugh, make you cry, and have you praying for their success. You will find yourself emotionally involved with every one of them as they eventually end up at The Box in an act of final desperation.
Do you still believe in miracles? After reading The Box…you will.
