What's the Difference between Butane and Propane?
An 8 ounce butane canister will burn at high temperatures for approximately 1.25 hours. A 1-pound can of propane will continue to burn at high temperatures for 1.5 hours. Propane typically has a shorter burn time than butane, but it burns at a relatively high temperature, so propane may be better suited for some applications that require high temperatures.

The primary reason for getting this is for I am working on project sites and getting to restaurants is less than convenient due to distance and time.The Butane Camping Stove, Portable Gas Stove is extremely versatile, lightweight, easy to set up and take down. It's a small footprint and doesn't not take up a lot of space. Easily store in a tote, in a cabinet, or throw into the backseat, trunk, work box, or back of the work truck.Convenient and efficient. The butane bottle I bought is inexpensive...less than 3 dollars and the 1 lb propane bottle is about 6.00.Apparently the propane is a little more efficient and will burn hotter. To use propane, an adapter is needed. And will not fit into the compartment as the butane bottle is stored.I have not gotten the propane adapter yet but have one in my Amazon shopping cart. As soon as I am done with this review I'm making the purchase for the propane adapter for the option of using propane fuel.The stove is nicely. Connections are sturdy and stable. Great look. The mechanical on/off work nicely and with ease. Not glitching or hang ups. The operations is smooth and dependable.Self lighting and self extinguishing are great features for easy of ease and setup.I have not needed the wind guards, but also a greatFeatures to have available if need be.Pretty great for multiple occasions. I highly recommend this butane/profane stove burner for anyone on the go.

Convenient and efficient. The butane bottle I bought is inexpensive...less than 3 dollars and the 1 lb propane bottle is about 6.00.
