Hollywood glamor meets “‘Tis the Damn Season” in this irresistibly buzzy sapphic romance, perfect for fans of Alexandria Bellefleur and Casey McQuiston.

Katie Price is known in every living room in America. A small-town Wisconsin girl who became an A-list star, she rarely makes it home, but this year is different . . . Little does she know it will lead her straight into the piercing blue-eyed gaze of Wil Greene.

A lot has happened in the decade since those cold Wisconsin nights when Wil and Katie drove around in Wil’s Bronco senior year. Since then, Wil's law career hasn’t taken off. Her father passed away. And what started as a personal challenge—kissing a new person twice a week, every week—has made her a growing sensation, but her life is still stuck in phase one. Through the years, the two have never left each other's thoughts and desires, but now suddenly, they are back in each other’s lives. Their reconnection is instantaneous, and the passion is palpable...but can it stand the test of time?

Witty, emotional, and steamy, Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is an unforgettable romantic read for everyone who almost kissed their best friend. And then finally did.

“Sweetly tender and arrestingly sexy.” —Kate Clayborn, author of Georgie, All Along

Review

"As I knew I would be from the first page, I was immersed in Mae Marvel's Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous. Katie and Wil's journey here--of longing, of self-discovery, of falling in love all over again--is somehow both classic and modern, both vulnerable and strong, both sweetly tender and arrestingly sexy. Gorgeously written, with sentences and phrases so lovingly constructed that they had my heart skipping a beat--Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is a romance to add to your keeper shelf.” - Kate Clayborn, Author of Georgie, All Along

“Charming and smart, Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is a delicious romance about second chances, taking risks, and the beauty that can come from chasing our dreams.” - Ashley Herring Blake, author of Delilah Green Doesn't Care

"There is everything to love about this sexy, swoony, huge-hearted, beautiful book. Written with sparkles, sizzles, and the sweetness of apple crisp, Katie and Wil's achingly romantic story is about reaching for the stars and, at the same time, coming home. Mae Marvel delivers friends-to-lovers perfection." - Joanna Lowell, author of The Duke Undone and Artfully Yours

"Heartwarming." -
Publishers Weekly

"Beautifully written, exploring Wil and Katie’s evolution from friends to lovers as twin journeys of self-awareness." - Kirkus

“Compellingly written, with a light touch on serious subjects and strong chemistry between the main characters. Recommended for readers who enjoy sapphic friends-to-lovers and celebrity romances.” ―Library Journal

I think this book is the best one I have read this year! It was constantly fun and interesting to read.

This is my first read by this author. Would I read her again? Probably. Small town girl (well, if you consider Green Bay a small town lol) makes it in the big world of Hollywood greatness. Is it everything she ever wanted? She paid a huge price for stardom but she wants to do more with her life. She just can't seem to find the way out of the hole (such that it is) she is in without losing the control she currently has. Wil remained behind and found herself a life that worked for her. But was that the life she WANTED? Katie and Wil will find a way to reconnect on some level since their mothers are best of friends but can they make (and keep) each other happy with the spotlights directly on them?
A bit steamy (more than I expected but not unwanted lol) and some great come to Jesus moments for several characters have me rounding up to a 4 from a solid 3.5 stars.

This book was hot! I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is outstanding!

This is the most erotic slow burn ever, but I love how the characters respected each other and their needs throughout.

Also, friends to lovers might be my favorite trope!

Thanks to the publisher for digital ARCs of both the ebook and eaudiobook.

"Everyone I’ve Kissed Since You Got Famous" focuses on the challenges fame, finding career success, and personal relationships can have on life. While many of the topics were heavy and relatable, humor was also thrown in.

Wil has a huge TikTok following on her “wilyouorwontyoy” channel where she kisses people for the first time for a full 60 seconds, posting twice a week.

Katie is a well known actress who has suffered trauma and seeking to find success on her own.

Wil and Katie were best friends in high school but haven’t seen each other in 13 years. Katie is taking a much needed break and decides to spend the holidays at home allowing her and Wil to reunite. They pick up where they left off as if no time has passed.

Both discuss the feelings they had for one another in high school and their lives now. They share their fears and dreams together.

This is a sapphic romance that falls under the friends to lovers trope. While I’m sure this will be some readers favorite read for the summer (or year) it was a three star read for me. The beginning engaged me but I felt the middle slowed down, at times feeling repetitive. I found my attention drifting before picking back up at the end.

I look forward however to other books from the authors!

This book was awesome! I only write reviews for books I can't not. This had everything, two awesome main characters, good family dynamics, good supporting characters, *all* the feels - every one of them! Also, the *mystery* was solved very satisfactorily! I would read more by the authors, highly recommend!

Over the years I have read thousands of novels and hundreds of sapphic romance novels. This book caught all of the yearning, surprise, desire, humor, and wonder of what falling in love between two women looks like. I could not put it down. I hope that this couple writes more because I will read anything they write.

I loved this sapphic/bi-awakening romance. Wil and Katie grew up together in Green Bay, WI. Their moms were best friends so they knew each other since they were babies and went to the same schools. Wil was always magnetic, popular and lived a "normal" life growing up. By contrast, Katie was always drawn to the theater and performing, knew she wanted to be an actress from an early age and spent most of her formative years performing, taking special classes and traveling around to various shows. Because of her busy schedule, although their lives overlapped occasionally, they didn't become close until their senior year in high school, when suddenly they became inseparable in the way intense teenage friendships suddenly develop. However, life happened, Katie went off to become a huge star in Hollywood, while Wil stayed home in Green Bay, seemingly stuck in place after her father's untimely death from Huntington's disease.

After not seeing each other for thirteen years, Katie and Wil reconnect when Katie comes home for Christmas. Katie is a mega-star, but Wil is no slouch herself, having started a viral Tiktok series in which she films herself kissing two different people a week. When they reconnect, it's as if Katie never left. Old feelings from their high school years, unacknowledged at the time, rise up in both of them. They finally admit to an attraction so deep and strong that it seems to have withstood the test of time, but can they find a way to honor those feelings and make room for each other in the middle of two very different and busy lives?

I loved how honest and direct Katie and Wil were with each other. Although they played flirty games, they did so as adults who weren't afraid to examine and acknowledge their feelings, and had no problem with acting on them. Their attraction was so strong that it leapt off the page. I'm not a fan of flashbacks so I also loved that the authors didn't resort to them to show Wil and Katie's previous connection but instead let their shared past unfold in the course of the present day story. There were a few times when the characters were a bit too much in their heads and I lost the thread of the story, but overall, I thought that it was a smart, engaging read, with two strong, sympathetic MCs who very much deserved all the happiness that they found with each other. My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

This, THIS is how you do celebrtity romances. It encompassed everything messy, and complicated and hard about it, while maintaining that love is easy, because it is.
The characters were perfectly crafted, the ideas were unique, it felt real.
The thing I enjoyed the most was the intimacy, the emotional bond. And how vulnerable and honest their conversations were because they knew and saw each other and and helped bring that to the surface for each other
    I loved it!!!
