Eric grew up in Connecticut, and relocated to the South after college. After becoming restless moves to the Rockies and the Pacific Northwest occurred before finally heading back East to raise a family. The wanderlust has never left Eric and he's always yearning for the next adventure.

After many years in corporate America, he decided to turn his passion for the written word and dreams of crafting a novel into reality. Eric's debut novel The Body Man came out in 2021, the sequel Breach of Trust in 2024, and the third book in The Body Man Series titled Supreme Justice will be out July 2025. Eric also has released two books in The Omega Group Series: Ransomed Daughter and Babylon Will Rise.

Eric lives in the foothills of Western North Carolina with his kids. You can normally find him exploring the great outdoors most weekends, traveling the world when possible, and grilling out on his back deck, all the while dreaming up the next great novel.

WOW. I picked up this thriller based on a recommendation. In reading Eric Bishop's bio prior to reading this book, it read he is from the "corporate world".Well, I will tell you and everyone that wants to listen this...If Eric Bishop is from the corporate world as he claims, then his day job was only a cover for his clandestine identity as an alphabet agency operative! There is no way possible this book was not written by anyone other than someone that has seen real-world operational experience behind the scenes in Washington. For someone who "says" he is from the corporate world, he sure does know a heck of a lot of inside information on the inner workings of the FBI and Secret service.I finished this book in two days (I'm a retired law enforcement supervisor of 27 years with time on my hands). His development of characters, from minor to major, is in-depth and thorough, bringing this story to life through realistic relationships of old school vs. new school. If you're a fan of investigations at the most secret level of high-profile agencies, this book is for you!

    As much as this is an action thriller it would be nothing without the characters, here the authors brings us a veritable cast each wonderfully drawn out and brought to life on the page,you can believe in each, however, the with the main protagonists Eli Payne and Kat Stone you get a real sense of who they are and whilst Stone may be the newbie she is not written as such, she is her own person not afraid to give back and this is refreshing to see, you can see the mutual respect grow between the pair, they combine to make a team determined to seek out the truth and not to fail,

    A book packed with full on action, characters which you can relate to, it has it all, there are some fantastic thrillers writers writing today and Eric P Bishop has already shown he is up there with the best

    Cannot recommend this enough and definitely cannot wait to see what the author brings us next

    The Body Man is the debut novel by Mr. Bishop and is a political thriller. It's apparent that Mr. Bishop is a Vince Flynn fan not just by the reference in the book, but is apparent in the way he constructs the plot and characters in the book. I've read some brilliant thrillers this year, and The Body Man will definitely rank amongst the top 5. It's apparent that Mr. Bishop intends to write atleast a sequel to this book if not construct a series out of it. I eagerly look forward to reading his next book. I'd recommend this book not just to thriller fans, but for anyone that's up for a good read.
