We purchased thie item for our mZOther. She is 87 and 90 percent blind. Her age has caused her to have weakend muscles so lifing the old food processor and mixers were out of the quesyion. Space is limited in a small apartment so break down size is important and ease of dissaembly and re assembly was crucial.
In her first day, she managed to assebble the processor and staert to learn. In last 2 weeks, she was able to prepare vegetables for soups, purees, salads and smoothies.
At this price point, it is the perfect applicance for all, but is extra special foro our mother. She has already started to have company over for treats and I;m sure she is selling machines...

We live in Canada and we've been looking for a local source for this thing. It is a good thing Amazon Canada started ofering it and the price was very attractive. Our little bullet blender was toast so we scrambled to look for a replacement. The Kitchen Express System fit the bill quite nicely plus we get a small food processor! It got delivered a couple of months ago and we have been using it extensively. The Pro's include the small and compact size, powerful motor, and multi-purpose nature. Cons include noise (very noisy), the blad in the food processor could be better. The edges are sharp but the quality of the steel is very low (disappointment). Upon close inspection, the blade edge has some nicks. Clearly a quality issue. The quality of the plastics used for the blender cups and food processor could be better. They will scratch easily if not carefully handled during washing or use. The blender cup is not easy to clean especially the grooved lip where drid up bis of food can stick. The blades of the food processor is very difficult to clean thoroughly. Lots of edges and grooves on the surface of the bladed spindle and the blades themselves makes it hard to clean food remains off of it. Patience and steady/sturdy hands are required to get this thing clean!

Was ok while it worked. Gadget quality. I would not recommend wasting your money on one. Even with light use the motor died before the 6 month mark. Stick to ninja. Those are real tanks that last for years and take a beating.

I bought this in September and it was rarely used 5 to 10 times only from day 1 their is a oil burning smell coming out fro the motor. I thought its a brand new som time machine do smell like this after some usage it will be gone. But it won’t. After a month I realized to return this faulty grinder. But due to 30 days an over my return policy condition is done. Then I keep using it and I am truck driver not at home for almost 5 days a week so you can imagine how much time I used this. But the worst part was last week when I am grinding some vegitable and the whole motor was burn out. Now its working even some other parts I never open yet. This a worst faulty machine don’t buy its a waste of money.
