Good quality, easy assembly when following the direction sheet. Connected direct to studs so no header board was needed. I did add a small magnet to the close area so that the door stays secure since it moves so easily. I'd suggest a small stick on rubber tip on the side when the door is open agains the rear wall as the little plastic door guards won't take a lot of force (if you have children for sure). Very happy with the door overall.

I was very surprised when this was delivered at how heavy the box was (and how tall!) fyi it was very awkward to try and move the box by myself, I ended up opening and moving it piece by piece.

But it being heavy is actually a really good thing, the parts are all well made and there were no production issues that caused issues during setup. I put this up in my bedroom where a regular swing style door was on my closet but a previous owner removed. It’s so great to have a closet door again!

For years, I've wanted to install a barn door to separate the kids side of the house from the living room, and this one is absolutely perfect for our home.

Personally, I think this is a good value for a fully inclusive barn door kit, as it includes both the rail and mounting hardware, as well as a beautiful and sturdy door with frosted glass panels. Keep in mind that you do have to assemble the door and install the glass (see photo taken mid-installation) but if you’re up to a short weekend project it really isn’t difficult to do. I would strongly encourage anyone who puts this together to use a strong wood glue to ensure a tight permanent fit for all of the door's connecting points. The end result is absolutely beautiful.

One quick note: it’s likely that the mounting hardware will not lineup precisely with the studs in your walls so you will need probably need to buy a 1“ x 6“ x 6‘ piece of wood on which to install the upper bracket. This is not included with the kit so you might need to go to your local hardware or lumber store to get a piece of wood for this purpose.

At any rate, this is such an attractive door and makes a lovely upgrade to my living room. Recommended.
