This tape is useless.....it comes off in thick strips which would make it useless as painter's tape....Or anything else really for that matter..... whether it's 5 rows STUCK TOGETHER all the way or if it's actually that thick, it's hard to say, you would need a microscope or something....It comes off super thick, and what ends up as the sticky side is barely sticky and since it's a thick strip....it's extra heavy so it doesn't stay put no matter where you stick it or what you stick it to.....Not recommended, a waste of money.
