The valve mechanism on this pillow is awesome! It makes it SO much easier to inflate without air escaping between breaths. It takes about 5 deep breaths to fully inflate. The cover is very soft and comfortable! I like the elastic band attached to it so you can secure it to a beach chair or camping chair. It’s thick enough to support your head comfortably. AND I can use it as a meditation pillow while traveling! It’s small and very lightweight so you can easily bring it on an airplane flight or in your backpack to go camping. Highly recommended!

I’m 69 years old and after a lifetime of canoeing, kayaking, hiking and motorcycle trips using a stuffed pillow case and other inflatables I decided to try this. Only used it for a few nights at home but was impressed by it. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s a bit of a pain to inflate. Easy to inflate but you have to be quick to close the valve or you lose a lot of air. Also like the idea of the band to keep the pillow from slipping off your mattress. Looking forward to camping this summer

Bought four of these for our annual family camping trip, two summers ago, because of how compact it is. I love the contoured neck support, and because of this pillow I realized I need more side support in my everyday pillow. It’s comfort is apparent when you half-inflate it. Personally. It makes me not want to roll around in my sleep as much. My husband and kids sleep on their stomach and love customizing each of their pillow.
Sadly, on our trip this year, three out of four pillows couldn’t hold air anymore and we battled it out for the last pillow. Just kidding about the battle but about the dilemma. Kids woke me up and one by one I had to stuff clothes into a dry bag for a makeshift lumpy pillow. I much preferred my comfy hikenture pillow. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s worth the purchase again for a two year use, when our camping trips are only a weekend long. I guess we’ll bring regular pillows and save space some other way. Womp womp.
