    I have used this little pump a lot for Extracting and MOSTLY Installing new fluid in differentials, gearboxes, transfer case's and extracting from power steering pump reservoirs. Your general small amount automotive fluid exchanges. I did exchange the hose for the tougher/stiffer woven type CLEAR 1/4 inch hose you get at a hardware store. Cost was less than $1 per foot. It fits perfectly in the intake/discharge ends of the pump. For the price it's a great pump for small jobs. Moves fulid at a reasonable rate for it's size. 75W-140 gear oil pumps easy, fills a large rear diff in less than a minute from a gallon jug.
