Editorial Reviews

Review

"I would recommend this book highly to anyone who teaches a first course in grief and bereavement and/death and dying. It is comprehensive, insightful and scholarly yet retains the sensibility that is needed when discussing the topics. This manuscript covers areas in grief and loss that are not normally addressed."

"I would advise a colleague that this manuscript presents a most comprehensive review of the literature and includes the most thorough documentation to date of the current approaches to the practice of grief counseling."

This is an excellent book which provides a good and comprehensive overview of Grief and Loss. The student feedback I've received on it has been excellent. It also includes excellent discussion questions for in-class exercises.

for a rental the book is really beat up

This book may be the best in the world, but it is far to expensive for a book written in 2005. If I did require this for a class I would not have ordered the book. Someone must be making allot of money from the sale.
