3 Preset Channels

You can save up to three sets of temperature settings into the three preset channels, so you don't have to constantly adjust temperature settings for works that are different in temperature requirement.

How it works: You can set Channel 1 to 662°F (350°C) for component A, Channel 2 to 716°F (380°C) for component B, Channel 3 to 212°F (100°C) for heat shrinking. While you're working, you can switch between these settings with just ONE press of a button.

PID Temperature Stabilization

In conjunction with the temperature control function, the PID programme keeps the temperature stabilized at the set temperature when you're working.

How it works: As the hot air transfers heat onto the solder joint, the PID programme compensates the heat fluctuation in milliseconds with just the right amount of power to keep your hot air gun at the set temperature.

°C/°F Temperature Display Modes

Working with component temperature requirements that are different in units? With this function, you no longer have to convert the units by yourself. You can use our Fahrenheit / Celsius unit display function to select the unit that you want to work with.

In-holder Standby Mode

When you put the hot air gun in the holder, the temp. will automatically cool to below 212°F(100°C). And when you pick it up, it will automatically heat up to the set temperature. This function can extend the consumable parts' lifespan, such as the heating element, and improve work efficiency.

I saw a few reviews stating that this rework station stopped working for them after a while. Another review stated that the gun wouldn't get hot enough. I had to replace a switch for the right bumper on a Steam Deck and this device made a difference. I was able to remove the broken switch easily and replace it with a new one by heating the solder and carefully placing the switch in place.

I'm happy with my purchase, I just need to find other projects to use it on.

This is a great hot air rework station.. only a couple mods to adapt to the work youd normally do with it and is great. 1) change out the 10k pot for a 50k to get slower fan speeds. 2) add a power conditioner or a isolation transformer to stop the pwm feedback. 3) open up the gun and break out all the plastic chunks blocking off the air intake for the fan and re-arrange the cabling inside to not interfere with things using high heat hot glue or something. 4) purchase the angled tips so you can see what youre doing and thats pretty much it.. now i did add an additional board with different resistance values and ran them to each “channel” set point on the thing so i can crank up the fan speed all the way and simply use one of the setpoints which sets the heat and now the fan speed all jn one button without having to turn the knob everytime.. so what I’m lazy..

There are tons a different rework stations and i liked the review on this one and the options this unit provides. I've never used one of these devices before and found it very easy to setup and use. I like to repair old circuit boards but these days I am finding more and more SMD and a solder iron is to big to use. This device does the job and heats up very quickly. I like it when i rest the head on the handle and the unit will cool down and shut off until I pick it up again. Like the preset buttons for the different heat settings. Like the adjustable air speed so I don't blow off the parts I and trying to install. Very well built from what I can tell and look for to many years of use.

I just received this today. I opened it up and it appears wired correctly. the right side of the plug (which should be hot in the USA) runs into the fuse compartment, then runs to the power switch, so I believed that is correctly wired. Also everything looked clean. I did not test the grounding of the case or anything, I proceeded to use it. I was only using 482F to desolder an IC. It got up to temperature very quickly, under 10 seconds for sure. I didn't time it but 6-8 seconds sounds about right. i held it over the chip for about 10 seconds.. and bam it came right off! works like a champ, have 0 regrets over this purchase. Now if you're going to desolder components all day long for weeks on end, you might want a more expensive unit, but for an occasional hobbiest this is perfect. 0 issues in my book so far with 1 exception. The darn power cord is hard wired and only about 2 feet long, if that.. It is just too short.. I'd rather have had 5 foot but it would cost more money, so oh well, nothing an extension cable cant fix (or i suppose you could just re-wire it if you want). Overall Very impressed.
