The Sellstrom KneePro Ultra Flex III Knee Pad provides the ultimate in comfort, durability, and protection when pressure is put on your knees – whether you need to kneel, crawl, or squat. Pads are specially designed to target the patella (the triangular bone that covers the knee joint). The hard plastic outer shell is contrasted with the interior soft padding that has a 3/4-inch closed cell foam pad. The orange gripping strip provides security and traction without leaving any marks or residue behind. Metal rivet hinge assures easy movement and flexibility. Elastic woven straps have reinforced sewn ends and are attached well above and below the knee, so there is no binding or pressure behind the knees. Padding is lightweight and comfortable for all-day use. Speed clip closure allows for quick attachment and is adjustable for a custom fit for both men and women.     I have probably been through four pair of different knee pads in the past 5 years. These are definitely the best knee pads I've owned. They don't tear up the back of your knees and rub your skin raw with the straps. Not at all. Very comfortable to wear and plenty of padding although they could use a little bit more but that's not even a deal breaker with these. They stay put on your knees and don't go off-center at all. I wore them two days in a row for about 6 or 8 hours each day and my knees feel great compared to the junk knee pads I've had in the past which were basically useless and left my knees hurting after wearing them and rubbed the back of my knees raw. Don't even hesitate, just buy them. You'll be glad you did.

I wouldn't recommend using on ground with metal shavings because they can stick in the knee material. Easy to put on and adjust. Very easy to maneuver around with them on.
    Very durable. And surprisingly comfortable. Best ones we've ever owned. We recommend them to all of our friends.

    I have tried dozens of different kneepads, from 5$ cheap to $200+, but I haven't found a knee pad I like more than this. Every day working around the house I will wear these the whole day. It's to a point my friends notice and say something whenever they see me without them. As long as the lower strap is tight enough it won't slide past the bulge of your calf muscle so it will not fall down your leg. And because of the two piece pivoting action, it realigns itself every time you bend your knees to kneel. The hard plastic over the soft foam let's you kneel even on a metal corner point with ease. Heck, you can even use it as a cutting surface. The rubber pad on the outside doesn't scratch sensitive surfaces. Just a fantastic knee pad!!!! I own several pair and leave them lay around all around my life (upstairs, downstairs, greenhouse, truck, wife's car, at my parents house etc). The only cons I have for them is that after 5-8 years of constant use the plastic around the pivot point wear out and the elastic straps loose their elasticity.
